Olga Segura
(Founder)Producer and Activist
OLGA SEGURA is a Mexican producer currently residing in the United States. Olga has produced over 8 films and her projects have premiered at world class film festivals including Venice, Berlin and Sundance.
Her last film, Waiting for the Barbarians was based on the novel written by Nobel Prize winner J.M. Coetzee, it was directed by Oscar-nominated Ciro Guerra, and premiered at the Venice Film Festival 2019. Her most recent project is a documentary based on the 3-time Latin Grammy winner singer and composer Carla Morrison which she is co-directing and producing.
Segura has recently partnered with Exile Content to create the Latina Creative Incubator for the development of emerging female and non gender-binary Latinx content creators.
In addition, along with her partners, writer Alex Kondrake and activist Monica Ramirez, she founded The Latinx House, a platform for people who appreciate, support and celebrate the excellence of the Latinx community.
Segura is also a co-founder of She Se Puede a movement and platform designed to empower the next generation of Latinas

Bárbara Arredondo
(Co-founder)Cultural curator, Entrepreneur, and Activist
Bárbara has dedicated her life to give visibility to our generation’s most inspiring leaders. She began her career as a journalist writing about issues such as women’s rights and climate change.
With almost 15 years of experience, Bárbara has created and advised movements and forums in Latin America, New York and Japan such as The Economist Mexico Summit, Newark Peace and Education Summit, Imagination Summit by the Lincoln Center Institute, Women’s Forum, among others.
In 2012, Bárbara created a project called i AM HERE, in her hometown, Monterrey — a conference focused on women’s empowerment and community building projects where 300 political, business and influential local female leaders gathered during 4 months to learn first hand from Abigail Disney, Patti Smith, Jennifer Siebel Newsom, Alice Walker, Alicia Navarro and Zainab Salbi how to create a positive impact in their city.
She is currently co-founding partner and creative at Lidh, Mexico’s first fintech specialized in offering both financial services and financial education for women.
In 2020, she co-organized a campaign called Juntas Somos Paz for Mexico City’s historic Women’s March #8M where over 500 women from the entertainment and creative industries joined to march for the first time. In 2018, Bárbara was featured in the international book series Those Who Inspire: Mexico. In 2015, she was invited as an honorary member of the Fuji Declaration. In 2014, she was part of the first generation of the US State Department IVLP on Women, Peace and Security.
