"Creating a world where more men and women fight for what they want, and dedicate themselves to doing so."
Fernanda began dreaming of airplanes when she was five years old, watching them through her grandfather’s window near the airport; her deepest wish was becoming a pilot herself one day.
When she was 20 she began studying to be a pilot in Mexico City, doing her flight training in Acapulco and Cuernavaca. In 2011, she began her career by working for a well-known Mexican airline, flying their ERJ145 jets, undergoing specialized training in Houston.
Today, she is First Officer on a Boeing 737-700/800/MAX, trained in Las Vegas.
Her career as a professional pilot brings her to destinations like New York, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Vancouver, Montreal and Lima, among others.
For Fernanda, being a woman in aviation is a reward for equality, and motivation for keeping the goal of more women in the industry flying high.
